Dog Parkour Class

175.00

Starting Tuesday May 8th:

10 am

This fun and interactive dog walking class is a combination of obedience and agility, using natural obstacles found in the environment. This is a great class to help foster focus and teamwork, while building useful skills your dog will love to perform. Parkour introduces fun and novelty to your dog walks and is guaranteed to change the way you view the environment! We will introduce all the cues necessary to earn your dog's Novice Parkour Title:

  • 4 feet on/2 feet on

  • Moving obstacles and balance

  • Under, through, in, over, and around

  • Wait on an obstacle

  • Back up

These cues will be generalized to multiple obstacles, encouraging confidence and creativity. Handlers will learn to identify appropriate obstacles for their individual dog, as well as proper spotting techniques to ensure safety. Optional videoing will be offered for those wanting to compile their dog's success for titling submission to International Dog Parkour Association.
